Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and rejoice with an inexpressible and glorious joy, — 1 Peter 1:8

We love Him without ever laying eyes on Him. That's the peculiar nature of saving faith — it walks by sightless trust, not by physical proof. The Spirit sheds abroad the love of God in our hearts, and that love attaches to a Person we've never seen. Christ dwells in us, the hope of glory, and we demonstrate that unseen love by loving the brothers we do see. Blessed are those who believe without seeing.
