Joseph named his second Son Ephraim because God made him fruitful in the very place he'd suffered. That's the pattern of the Gospel. The God of all comfort consoles us in our affliction so we can comfort others. Your trials aren't wasted — they're the soil. The Lord stood with Paul when everyone deserted him, and He'll do the same for you.
