God says,'I will never leave you nor forsake you'. That's a double negative in the Greek — literally'I will never, no never leave you. Jacob got that promise at Bethel, Moses passed it to Joshua, and Paul saw it fulfilled when everyone deserted him but the Lord stood by him. Though my Father and mother forsake me, the Lord will take me in. I am with you always, to the end of the age. I am the living One — I was dead, and behold, I'm alive forevermore.
