How great is Your goodness which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have bestowed before the sons of men on those who take refuge in You! — Psalm 31:19

The goodness of God is not exhausted in this life—it is stored up, laid up, reserved for those who fear Him. Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, what He has prepared for those who love Him. In His presence is fullness of joy; at His right hand are pleasures forevermore. Godliness has promise for the present life and for the life to come.
