From the beginning, God taught His people that sin costs life—and blood must be shed for forgiveness. Every lamb slain in the tabernacle pointed forward to the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin; He entered the Most Holy Place once for all with His own blood, obtaining eternal redemption. We have been bought with a price—the precious blood of Christ.
