By their fruit you will recognize them. Works don't save, but they're the evidence of salvation. A tree is known by its fruit—a good tree can't bear bad fruit, and a bad tree can't bear good fruit. If someone claims to know Christ but walks in darkness, they lie and don't practice the truth. Let your light so shine before men that they see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Not so you'll be noticed, but so he'll be praised.
