No longer will you be called Forsaken, nor your land named Desolate; but you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the LORD will take delight in you, and your land will be His bride. — Isaiah 62:4

The LORD will take delight in you. Not the Lord tolerates you, or puts up with you, or grudgingly keeps you around—he delights in you. He has called you by name; you are his. Can a woman forget her nursing child? Yet i will not forget you; i've engraved you on the palms of my hands. The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, who hope in his mercy. He rejoices over you with singing. Once alienated, enemies in your mind because of evil works, now he presents you holy and blameless. He delights in you because he sees you in his Son.
