Circumstances, not time, not friends, but God himself, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who knows your frame and that you are dust and doesn't despise a broken heart. As a mother comforts her child, so he comforts you; cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. He has sent the comforter, the Holy Spirit, to abide with you forever, and one day he will wipe away every tear.
