And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore you, secure you, strengthen you, and establish you. — 1 Peter 5:10

The God of all grace—that's who he is at his core, because grace isn't just something God gives, it's who he is; he shows mercy because he chooses to and justifies the ungodly freely by his grace. Grace came by Jesus Christ, and from his fullness we've received grace upon grace; he gives more grace to the humble, and whatever gift you've been given to serve, it's by the grace that was given you. Grow in that grace—it's the only ground you stand on.
