Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who acquires understanding, — Proverbs 3:13

Happy is the man who finds wisdom—not just knowledge, but the wisdom that begins with the fear of the Lord, which is ultimately a person: Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Whatever you count as gain—credentials, achievements, reputation—count it as loss for the surpassing worth of knowing Christ. He who finds wisdom finds life and receives favor from the Lord.
