Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, persistent in prayer. — Romans 12:12

Rejoice in hope—not a vague wish but a certain expectation anchored in Christ, so solid that you can rejoice even while suffering. If in this life only we had hope in Christ, we'd be most miserable, but we don't; the trials are real, yet so is the joy the spirit gives. A living hope means a glad heart, even through many tribulations.
