Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights, is an eight-day celebration commemorating the miracle of a single day’s worth of oil for a lamp burning for eight days. Hanukkah began on Sunday, December 14, and runs until the 22nd. See the Mat-Su Jewish Center website for Hanukkah events.
