• The 2024 MLB regular season comes to an end as the White Sox end their miserable season on a happy note with the 9-5 win over the Tigers.  The Tigers move on and will face Houston in the AL Wild Card round starting Tuesday.   The Cubs season ends with a 3-0 loss to the Reds in 10 innings.
• NFL.  The Bears beat the LA Rams 24-18, and the Colts beat previously unbeaten Pittsburgh 27-24.
• The Lions square off against Seattle tonight on Monday Night Football at 8:15 from Ford Field. the pregame on Rock 107 WIRX is at 7:10.
• College football this weekend, Michigan, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, and Notre Dame were winners,  Western Michigan and Michigan State fall.
• New AP Rankings have Alabama back on top.
• NHL preseason tonight, Red Wings to split up to play two games, one at Buffalo, one at home against Pittsburgh.
