A donation to Miami-Dade superintendent Carvalho’s foundation is under investigation. The Office of the Inspector General is reviewing the transfer of approximately $1.57 million dollars from K12, a virtual instruction provider, to the Foundation for New Education Initiatives, Inc. This is the same K12 platform that crashed and burned after a student conducted a DDoS attack on the system.

The superintendent in Palm Beach is under fire as well. The union has called for the removal of the superintendent and human resources director.

 Palm Beach County School Board Members admitted that the Superintendent fumbled the school reopening plan, but defended his performance against the unprecedented circumstances he’s had to deal with.
