Space experts here at USQ will have to wait a couple more days for the launch of NASA's latest planet-hunting spacecraft.

The powerful TESS telescope was meant to launch from Florida this morning... but last-minute safety concerns have forced a postponement.

Once the mission is back on track, if planets are discovered outside our solar system, that's when the University of Southern Queensland Professor in Astronomy Dr Jonti Horner and his team will swing into action, as he explains to John Laird and Ben Dwyer.
