This week we enter Mortal Kombat (1995) with the promise of comprehensive training from Lord Raiden, the God of Thunder. Oh no, he's just turned into a ball of lightening and zapped away up that ladder. I guess we'll undertake this journey alone to dissect the nonsensical rules, powers that are also weaknesses, and disgraceful waste of a good meal that this movie (and Mortal Kombat) offers.
