Mortal Kombat II Flixtor kicked off on a high note with King Jerrod battling Kahn, and the first act was packed with thrilling fights and stages. However, Johnny Cage's inclusion felt like a poor choice, and while Karl Urban did an acceptable job, his age in Doom (2005) would have suited this role better than his current age. The games depict him as youthful, not aged! 

I wasn't a fan of how Baraka was portrayed as friendly and cool with Johnny, considering he was an evil character in the original Midway games like MK: Deception, where he served Shang Tsung in MK9, adhering to the established lore. Kahn's character was strong, especially when he killed Cole Young, which was a misstep since introducing a brand new character was unnecessary. In this film, they severed the connection to Scorpion, who had the souvenir spear. They should have opted to make him Kenshi, Kai, or Takeda instead.
