Never take out a mortgage which is greater than 3-times your annual salary.  So says Chief Economist at Lending Tree, Tendayi Kapfidze. 

Find out which cities have people taking on the greatest amount of debt to buy a home and why.  Kapfidze says "just because you can, doesn't mean you should."
