0:00 - The Broncos technically beat the Chargers yesterday 23-17 at SoFi. But MAN it didn't feel like a win, did it now? Is Brett allowed to be critical of the Broncos this morning, even after a win? Are we allowed to speak our minds?

16:04 - The Broncos switched playcallers on offense and things looked basically the same, if not even WORSE. The offense STILL isn't pulling their weight, and they're relying on the defense to save them time and time again. Maybe playcalling isn't the issue. Maybe it's the players. And maybe that starts with Bo Nix.

34:34 - On Friday, we gave Ian Eagle a challenge. He had to work "he's a good kid" into Sunday's broadcast somewhere. Whether or not he did it in the judge voice was up to him. And as always, he delivered.

0:00 - Second night of a back to back? No problem. The Avalanche laid waste to the Calgary Flames yesterday 7-3. The Avs are GOOD and Calgary is BAD. Like, complete tear-down rebuild bad. BAD bad. It's stupid to say "must-win" this early in the season, but that was a must-win game for the Avs.  

13:05 - Moser's leaving early today to travel home with the Avs, so we need to LAY IT DOWN right now! How did he do last week? Did he go .500 or better? Does he get to keep his music? Or will he be relegated to the pit of misery?
After that, Brett thinks Sean Payton handled his presser very well yesterday when he announced that he'll be calling the plays on offense on Sunday. The word Kaner used was "defiant."

31:37 - Oh, by the way...MLB proposed some changes to the schedule/season, including returning to the old 154-game schedule. And also, some higher-seeded teams would be able to pick their opponent in the playoffs. Spicy!
Oh, by the way...Joel Embiid flopped (shocker, I know) and took out Jaylen Brown in the process. In a preseason game. Philly fans just saw their lives flash before their eyes!

0:00 - How's that for a get-right game? The Avalanche went to Calgary on the 2nd night of a back to back and OBLITERATED the Flames 7-3! Not bad, boys.
Well...that didn't take long...After 4 games, Sean Payton took back offensive playcalling duties from Davis Webb. It became officially official yesterday.

15:47 - If the offense continues to sputter even with Sean Payton calling the plays, Brett thinks Payton will come out unscathed. Teflon Sean will survive. The blame will shift to Bo Nix instead.

33:21 - Even a blind squirrel finds a nut. The 0-4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers went to JerruhWorld last night with an undrafted rookie backup QB and beat the Cowboys 24-16. How did they do it, you ask? By RUNNING. THE DAMN. FOOTBALL. That's how you support your QB. Pound the friggin rock all night long. You listening, Broncos?
