There is something powerful about a song. It has a way of getting stuck in our minds and hearts. That’s probably why Moses taught the people a song as part of the covenant renewal ceremony that he facilitated with the children of Israel before his death. He wanted to make sure that they would always remember who the Lord is – through a melody planted deep in their souls.
