Jesus had covered us in his blood so that the

wrath of God will pass over us.

God is in control. He’s far above any so-called

gods or our own intuition.

When we are faithless like the Israelites, God

is faithful to His promises.

All of this should lead us not to obedience to

earn God’s love, but joyful obedience because God first loved us.
