When God gives us an assignment, we’re never fully qualified or apt to take it on. That’s the whole point: to rely on God’s grace to amplify our own ability. God asks this question —“Who made your mouth?”— in response to Moses’ feelings of inadequacies in leading the people of Israel out of Egypt. Through this question, God says I’m greater than your inadequacies. He says the same to us.
