I considered myself to be a christian most of my adult life. I believed that if I died, heaven would have been my destination. The devastating truth of the matter, that misdirected confidence would have landed me in hell. I fear that the majority of those who identify with being a Christian may also have that same fate of being hell bound. As a Christian hell should not be your resting place.
