#115 Homeopathic First Aid;  five home essentials to add to your kit!

Contrary to popular belief it's not normal to feel like an emotional mess for 1-2 weeks of every month. Nor is it normal to feel breast pain, massive fluid retention, intense cravings, headaches, intense bloating, or a number of other symptoms that so many of us dismiss as "normal" or "part of being a female".

Unfortunately for a subset of women these symptoms are monthly occurrence and one that completely derails their life, relationships, confidence, and sense of self. 

It's also a probelm and conditoin that I've found clinically response incredibly well to holistic and natural medicine interventions. However, I've also seen well meaning "natural hormone balancing supplements" have the opposite effect and lead women to believe either that they are unfixable, that natural medicine doesn't work for them or worse - creates a worsening of their already debiliating experience.

So in todays episode I will unpack what PMS and PMDD actually are, alongisde the three main drivers I see in clinic, and how I personally approach helping my clients with this.
