Seventh grade Life Science @ Mabry continues to rock...or, um... egg. As a part of this major unit on cells, students were learning about cellular transportation through osmosis and diffusion. The students used eggs to parallel or model an animal cell. For 6 days they added solutions of varying water concentrations to observe the effects on the eggs' mass and circumference. The eggs could lose or gain mass based on the properties of the solution in which they soaked.
Take just a few minutes to sense the eggcitement of learning in science!
