Most of what happens in life is good, and yet our default programming tells us to focus on the negative things. I was reminded of this today as I was reading the most recent reviews on my Udemy courses. While at least 80% of the reviews were positive, I couldn't help but focus on the negative reviews. I found myself overlooking 4+ kind, positive reviews praising my courses, to focus on the first negative review I could find. We are programmed this way as a survival instinct. In primitive times if we were to miss a predator in the wild, life would be short lived. However, in a world with very few problems, focusing on the negative hardly makes life worth living. I hope this power thought is helpful for you, and I appreciate your feedback!
