The donkey:

- a symbol of servanthood and peace

- was planned (plural "owners")

Jesus came to change their expectation of what "Messiah" meant.

1) Our unchanging God is, paradoxically, a God of change.

2) The obedience of the disciples.

3) God wants us to obey Him -- not for His sake, but for ours.
