With low rainfall over the last two months, & water levels at record lows at Auckland reservoirs, water restrictions will be coming into effect from this Saturday 16th May. CE of Watercare Services in Auckland, Raveen Jaduram joins us now on Pacific Breakfast for more.
In response to one of the most severe droughts in Auckland’s history, Auckland Council’s Emergency Committee voted unanimously last Thursday to introduce mandatory water restrictions, which will come into effect across the region from Saturday 16 May.
