Lathika Sadasivan on being an immigrant, teaching immigrants coming to the US and raising her own children in the US. Trained as a high school English teacher, this strong woman raised 3 boys, and is the author of, My First Millennium , released Jun 1, 2000. In our talk  discover what it was like coming from Singapore to the US not knowing anyone, raising boys, teaching and how she overcame prejudice, flourished and then thrived through all life's difficulties and pressures. Her love, passion and strength for learning, storytelling kept her going and encouraged others to do the same.
