Alicia Searl went from being a homeschool mom for years to now being a published writer with 3 girls in Elementary, Middle and High School. She shares her story of motherhood and writing. Alicia struggled with infertility, postpartum depression, and unexpected pregnancy. She started writing to help herself get through struggles of motherhood. At some point she felt God calling her to share her writing with others but faced some doubt. He opened doors in beautiful ways assuring Alicia that this was Him. She talks about her journey and what God has done. She emphasizes how rest is so important physically, mentally and spiritually. She also talks about the importance of knowing our identity and having community.
