This was one of my favorite podcast episodes to record! My mom and I went deep into a few questions that give people an inside view into how my mom was raised, and why/how I was raised. We had HIGH expectations growing up and we talked about why that is. A big part of how we grew up revolved around education. We talk about why education was so important, what some of the problems with education are now, and how people can utilize education and knowledge to become better and be better.

Meet my mother. Amy Slack is the incredible mother of 6 boys. 6 Boys?! We even had a TV growing up! Amy Slack was raised in an environment where respect, kindness, and education were all very important. She instilled in her kids the importance of hard work, believing in oneself, and a devoted faith in good Man upstairs. She is currently teaching 6th grade and in her Masters of Education program to be able to step into administrative roles within the K-12 education system.
