NO DAYS OFF
Let me tell you what “no days off” means to me! Everyone needs to give their body a breather from weights and high-intensity but that does not mean sit still. From yoga, foam rolling, heading out for a long walk, there are great things you can do to take a rest from heavy lifting. I will never tell you how to set up your weekend plan. That’s up to you. You know your weekends are coming every weekend.
Then, get to living.
WHEN I KNEW BURN BOOT CAMP WAS GOING TO BE SUCCESSFUL
I’ve told this story before. It was a Saturday camp in 2012 in the parking lot. This is the moment I knew that we had something special. What we’ve created a Burn Boot Camp is a community. We are more than a workout. We are more than fitness. Listen in and I will tell you this amazing story of teamwork, accountability, and more.
SKIP THE COOKIE CUTTER PLANS
I don’t like “cookie-cutter” plans for you. WHY? It’s done TO YOU and not FOR YOU. You need something unique for your body, your personality, your lifestyle. We don’t share the same goals, might be similar, but not the same.
So, how can a “done for you plan” be beneficial? There is no one way to do it. We want you to be you. I want your life to work for you. Life is no fun on someone else’s plan. When you have ownership, you are far more likely to succeed.
OWN YOUR GOALS
I want you to set goals that are BIG. You are setting your goals too low. The hard fact is that you’ve got to get out of your comfort zone. Belief leads to momentum, momentum leads to results, results lead to more potential. It’s time to take control of your life. We are transcending fitness and translate into other areas of your life.
IT’S NOT PHYSICAL FITNESS
When we start working out, we start to see our bodies change. That’s not transformation. It’s all about being aware of your emotional fitness and take advantage of the way that you physically look. There are millions of people who LOOK GREAT but FEEL BAD. I want you to FEEL GOOD and LOVE HOW YOU LOOK. Empower yourself to live your best life. Move your body.
