When I was a child and got into trouble my dad would always ask, “Why did you do that?” Of course, the answer was always the same: “I don’t know!” I never really understood why he kept asking that question when he knew the answer was the same every time.

Of course, now I get it!

Our motivations are so important.

We’re going to change if we are alive. No one will stay the same. In a sense, you could technically call that change “growth”. But if we hope to grow the way God wants it, our decisions will make all the difference. Never confuse change with the growth God expects.
