The Mount Isa council is looking to governments for a $2 billion investment to save the city amid fears of economic and social losses when Glencore shuts down copper operations later in the year.
CEO of Mt Isa Council, Tim Rose told Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, "It's got a pretty big impact."
