Star Trek: First Contact is a sci-fi action film in which Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the USS Enterprise must stop the Borg from altering a pivotal moment in Earth’s history. As the threat forces them into humanity’s past, Picard confronts his own trauma while the crew works to protect the event that will lead to first contact between humans and an alien civilization.
