"Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" is a recent adaptation of the acclaimed children's book series by Alvin Schwartz and unlike recent horror titles featuring children, it is truly made for a young adult audience. Though we felt some parts were better than others, we felt individual scenes merit a lot of discussion. Eventually this opened up a discussion about what other media moments truly frightened us when we were young (30:00).

This has been a unique opportunity for cinema goers and television aficionados in the online era and it has ushered in many new opportunities. Some are good, such as creating a community, sharing insight, and even influencing studios to produce good content with them in mind. But there are two sides of the coin.
