Going to the movies used to be a cultural phenomena but has now been overtaken by Netflix and in-home entertainment systems. By the time you buy your ticket, popcorn, and soda, you have spent close to $40 per person for a 2 hour viewing experience. However, movie passes have been hits recently to try and bring people back to their local theaters.
