Think of a reboot that is not only good but better than the first try at a film. It's, generally speaking, a hard thing to do. John Carpenter's The Thing is one of if not the one every one thinks of. But check this out. 1999's The Mummy Remake is awesome!

Sadly this isn't the 1999's version, it's the 2017 version.
