Movies That Molded Me

In our last episode of Season 2 we play our favorite Musicals of all time. It is a great list but in true MTMM fashion, some of our picks are wild. We played: Across the Universe, Chicago, Hair, Hello Dolly, Little Shop of Horrors, Mary Poppins, Moulin Rouge, Newsies, Once, The Producers, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Sweeney Todd.

This is the worst list we've ever made but somehow one of the funnest episodes. Hate on it. We played: Brokeback Mountain, Chocolat, Dan in Real Life, Edward Scissorhands, Garden State, Joe Versus the Volcano, Lost in Translation, Notting Hill, Phantom Thread, Sense and Sensibility, There's Something About Mary, and Titanic.

Happy Labor Day. Which Action Movie Star deserves the ultimate championship belt? Dax and Chris determine who is the most badass of them all.

This episode was so much fun to record but, fair warning: there are some weird hot takes. How in the world did we make an action movies list with no mention of Nic Cage? Omar plays a movie that he has been regretting since we recorded the episode. Put on your boxing gloves and enjoy this episode. The movies we played are: Big Trouble in Little China, Casino Royale, The Dark Knight, Date Night, Die Hard, Hot Fuzz, Independence Day, Mortal Kombat (1995), Point Break, Speed, Saving Private Ryan, and Terminator 2.

On this episode we play the best Coming of Age movies and Dax experiences some real growing pains when he plays some obscure choices. There was almost a brutal fight but luckily love wins on this episode. The movies we played are: An Education, Big, Brooklyn, Call Me by Your Name, Dead Poets Society, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, Juno, Little Women, School of Rock, The Way Way Back, Whip It, and White Water Summer.

They say that revenge is a dish best served cold and Omar and Elizabeth did just that to Chris on their scores of his movies on this episode. We played the following movies: Bourne Identity, Count of Monte Christo, Deadpool, Gladiator, Inglorious Bastards, John Wick, Kill Bill, Mean Girls, Now You See Me, Oceans 12, Tombstone, and V For Vendetta.
