In the spirit of Halloween, we continue our spooky love story series.
This week, we watched Francis Ford Coppola’s horror romance classic, Bram Stoker’s Dracula. But for a subject this dark and brooding, we needed to outsource. When you have a friend who is THE expert on Victoriana, gothic romance, and all things Dracula, you can’t NOT bring her in.
Petra Orloff was welcomed into our podcast and she entered freely, providing us with her incredible knowledge about Victorian literature and the writing of Bram Stoker.
The result is a smart and snarky conversation that honors both Stoker’s and Coppola’s art (with the exception of Keanu Reeves’ acting).
