Mandii Brown, a native of Chicago, IL, made a significant life change during the midst of the CO-VID19 pandemic by relocating to Nashville, TN. Her educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Family Child Studies with a focus on Individual Development during her undergraduate studies, followed by a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of West Alabama. Currently, she plays a crucial role as a behavior health counselor for the male offenders in the maximum security prisons of Nashville, TN. Moreover, she holds the esteemed position of program director for the cognitive behavior program at two correctional facilities, working under a contract with TDOC. In addition to her responsibilities as a program director, she dedicates her part-time hours as a therapist at a renowned group practice called Mindful Steps PLLC. Beyond her professional commitments, Mandii actively engages in community leadership and social justice activism, focusing on raising awareness about recidivism, substance abuse, domestic violence, at-risk youth, and mental health issues among people of color.
