Before the pandemic most MSL/HCP engagements and advisory boards were in-person. Then during the pandemic, we largely moved to synchronous virtual — aka, we conducted our in-person engagements on Zoom. Now as we start to look beyond the pandemic, innovative Medical Affairs teams are exploring alternatives to traditional engagements including platforms that allow asynchronous or “over time” engagement: KOLs interact with platforms and with each other on their own time, receiving information and offering feedback outside the model of a group discussion.
