The Lord is saying the days of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" are over. If we are to move forward as a body, we must help those who need to get unstuck and come along. That means we must learn to speak the truth in love, walk in true mercy. It will mean confronting in an unconfrontational way things that are not allowed in the Kingdom.

This looks like showing people God's way in a situation, inviting them into God's way and then asking how we can help them get there.

This isn't so much about what we are leaving behind. As we seek the heart of God and to live in awareness of the harvest, we must seek what is our part in the harvest of souls into the Kingdom.
