Fresh from a little vacation, we sit down to give some life updates & talk about Tori’s transition out of active ministry with Young Life. Ministry & service are lifelong commands for the believer, but the different seasons of our lives call for different types of ministry/service. There are lots of reasons to move on from one thing & jump into another.

As always, the biggest piece of advice we could ever give is to stay in Scripture & pray without ceasing. The more time spent in God’s word, the more familiar his voice becomes. Biblical discernment is dependent on engaging with Scripture. If you’re struggling with a decision, go to Scripture, spend plenty of time in prayer, & seek the wise counsel of other believers.

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:1-2‬ ‭ESV‬‬ (this whole chapter is 🙌🏻)
