What is A Memorial?

Remembrance is holy to the Lord (Ark; Passover; Lord’s Supper)

Memorials “tell a story” that gives God glory!

External and internal objects that recognize and honor God and His character and actions (Joshua 4:3 & Joshua 4:9)

Examples of Memorials: Objects* (Rod, stone tablets, manna, rocks) *Objects are not to be worshipped. They are reminders to worship the Lord!; Observances (Communion); Special acts of worship and sacrificial gifts; Committed prayer and compassionate giving.

God sometimes grants special recognition to acts that He approves! (Matthew 26:13; Acts 10:4)

Have you established “Memorials”?

Reminders; objects, events that “tell a story of God’s Glory”.
