Stuart Klein came to Mowglis in 1964 as a crafts counselor, recruited by Jerry Hakes from the University of Michigan. His last year was 1972. Famed for the floor to ceiling murals that he created for the Mowglis costume night, and his work restoring the Jungle house gardens, as Crafts instructor and later on Assistant Director to William B. Hart, Stu created a lasting legacy at Mowglis and has been one of the most requested interviews by members of the Mowglis family.
