We begin with exciting news for the whole community.  The Technical College System of Georgia has awarded Monroe County Schools a grant totaling $3.1 million to create the new MPower College and Career academy.  The academy will work in partnership with Central Georgia Technical College and Gordon State College to offer career training for Monroe County and Crawford County students and community members.

In just a few weeks, you have the opportunity to enjoy the sounds of a Bluegrass Gospel Christmas.  Jason Hoard is bringing some of his well-known friends together for a night of family fun, worship, and of course, some holiday tunes.  Communications Specialist Kari Buckindail had the chance to meet Jason and chat with him about the show and what you’ll see on stage.
