mPower Technology, today announced it has closed an additional $1.85 million in Series A funding, bringing the company's total Series A round to $4.35 million.

The additional capital will support the development, testing and sales of the company's DragonSCALES™ (SemiConductor Active Layer Embedded Solar) solar cell technology.

The company has also made notable progress in the space solar power market with several large opportunities related to low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellations.
