Which, if you know anything about this day, is historically known as Juneteenth, because it is the date that the slaves were told that they had been freed! So, in order to celebrate and commemorate the day, we have a quote coming at you from abolitionist author, Frederick Douglass, who said, "I prayed for freedom for 20 years, but received no answer until I prayed with my legs."
