Born in Gastonia, North Carolina, Arkevious Armstrong had various of challenges growing up as a young kid. Witnessing his parents struggle with their drug addictions  caused Arkevious to experience his own personal trauma from physical and sexual abuse. Since being released from prison in 2006, Arkevious Armstrong has devoted his life in being an Activist, International Speaker, Author, Life Coach, Mentor, and Youth Advocate.  In 2013 he started a Nonprofit, Step Up To Leadership Mentoring Program. Placing Social Development programs for the young men within eight schools  and communities. Working with the local police department to bridge the gap and relations between the communities and law enforcement. Starting his speaking career in 2016, Arkevious has blazed the stages of corporations throughout the states, leaving his mark within the educational system from middle school to college students. Through his second personal development book, he has helped many overcome some of their personal challenges.
